Slovenia is a perfect little jewel in the center of Europe. We fell in love with the country for its glorious mountain scenery (so much more affordable than Switzerland or Austria), its tranquil farmland, the many friendly people we met, its compact and walkable capital city, and its delicious breads and cakes. Slovenia was the setting for two of our most breathtaking experiences: exploring a mammoth cavern and running off the side of a mountain.
