Sandwiched between France and the Netherlands, Belgium is a small country with a rich history. After house sitting in the northeastern corner of the country, we traveled around northern Belgium, a region known as Flanders. Like many tourists, we were charmed by the picturesque medieval town of Bruges and the bustling Art Nouveau capital, Brussels. We also fell in love with the city of Ghent for its beautiful architecture, first-rate museums, student vibe, and delicious chocolate.
