The most populous country in Europe and one of the founders of the European Union, Germany was at the center of the biggest wars and political conflicts in Europe in the 20th century. Today, with its eastern and western sides reunified for more than 30 years, Germany is a vibrant place full of regional and ethnic diversity, some beautiful scenery and architecture, many friendly people, very good bread, and Chris’s favorite wines.
