Four hours north of Luang Prabang is the gorgeous little town of Nong Khiaw, which boasts some of the most beautiful mountain scenery we’ve seen since Slovenia or northern Italy. We spent a lot of time savoring the river views and watching the changing light play across the rock faces that tower over the town. In between, we strolled around and explored the Saturday morning market.
